Hey there, I’m Dana—and if you’re new here, welcome! I’m a local photographer based in the beautiful Capital Region of Upstate New York. But more importantly, I’m a mom. A boy mom, to be exact. And it was becoming a mother that completely changed how I see the world—and why I picked up a camera in the first place.
When my son was born, I found myself wanting to freeze every tiny moment. The way he curled up on my chest. That first sleepy smile. The chaos, the joy, the real-life beauty of it all. And that’s where this journey began: with the realization that these moments—real, raw, and often unposed—are everything.
What I Want You to Know
Here’s the thing. I’m not just here to snap a few cute photos and send you on your way. I’m here to grow with your family, to be the person who captures the big milestones and the quiet in-betweens. From your first baby bump to your baby’s first steps, wild toddler energy to sweet sibling kisses—I want to be there for all of it.
And I know how real life works, which is why I’ve built my sessions with you in mind:
- Flexible scheduling (because naps, school runs, and life happen)
- Multiple pricing packages to fit your goals, budget, and vision
- Fast turnaround times because I know how excited you’ll be to see your photos
All the images, always – You’ll receive every final edited photo from your session in a high-resolution digital gallery. No picking favorites. No upcharges. Just all the magic, ready for you to download, print, and share however you’d like.
Let’s Capture What Matters Most
I truly believe the best moments are the candid ones—the way your child lights up when you smile at them, the way you and your partner look at each other during a family session, the giggles, the chaos, the love.
I’ve worked with so many amazing families all across Saratoga, Albany, Schenectady, and beyond, and I’m always honored when a family invites me to capture their story. I’ve photographed kids who didn’t want to sit still (spoiler alert: none of them do), parents who weren’t sure they were “photo ready,” and brand new babies who needed all the breaks—and we always make it work. We always get the shot.
So if you’re looking for someone who gets what it means to want more than just a photo—someone who’s patient, easygoing, and passionate about preserving the little things—I’d love to connect.
Let’s make something beautiful together, and start a photography relationship that lasts for years to come.
With love,
Dana
